Of course - we will have the special glasses to give our important people when it is time for speeches :)
But I want to get flowers for my mom, your mom and my Auntie Bev for all her help.
I have found a local florist near Huntingdon and I might get the flowers delivered to the Marriot so I have them on the day. I will also ask Will or Jack (Alice's) to see if they can keep them in the car until the afterparty so they are safe and no one will see their gift! I plan a similar request for the glasses :)

Altar

This will be the table cloth for the altar (mom made):

And obviously I want this as a centre piece (possibly with the rings on it):

I want to show the four elements on the altar: air (incense stick - Frankincense), water (small silver dish with water in and a shell), fire (tea light inside glass holder) and earth would be either a stone or bark - what do you think?

I also will have a few of my special stones and symbols there if that is okay, is there anything you would like to put on the altar that special to you?

I have also asked Gavin to hold the Handfasting ribbon for when we first come into the circle - I am sorry I should have checked with you but I thought it would be nice. And then he will pass it to Tina or Dani when it is time for us to "get tied" :D 

Maybe you should ask Conar to have the rings then.. it would be nice for him to have that job as Best man. 

I was also thinking about having our personal vows written so we can read them? Like on nice paper and I will probably wrap mine in a ribbon and then give it to you afterwards... ideas?

Mom will have the broom for the jumping ;)

MoonHenge

Firstly, here is an idea of how we can all stand (let me know if you want to change anything!):

I also plan to put a ribbon across the entrance that we will untie when it is time for the guests to enter.
I have also got a gorgeous lantern off Mom that we are planning to near the entrance on the little rock stand - would you like to light it as a way of welcoming the guests in? I thought that would be a lovely idea and it is best if you light it as I am being walked in by my Dad.
(This is why I thought it would be nice for John to look after the rings).


We will have some white rose garlands around the archway where we will stand. It will be wrapped around the top and up the sides.

You can find some bushes for the plants at the side of the arch on Sunday* - visit garden centre.

I have also got some flowers similar to this for my bridal party to hold so everything will match:

I think that is about it for MoonHenge décor as we wanted it very natural and simple.
We need to discuss where the chairs will go around the circle with Stephen and get some spare nearby just in case.

Village hall decor

First off - I  have got some balloons that, blue and silver pearly-type:

I have only ordered 10 (5 of each colour), so if you think we need more then let me know :)
I think they will look best in twos around the corners of the room using the foil silver weight - what do you think?


We will also have the bunting around the room - which we are yet to see!!!!

My Auntie Bev also thought some of the bunting might look nice at the front of the top table - so we won't need the garland there if we decide to do that.

We will also have our little Instagram sign around the place too:

Other table decor

Of course - Mom's beautiful roses will be on them!
They will look like this:

Alice also wrote out some place cards with a silver pen so everyone will be able to find their seat when they come in.
We will also have the bottles of wine on the table too!

We have these small bowls that Alice and I found at the The Range which we will fill with sweets as a type of favour:

Ideally, I would like to use these sweets in the bowls (see below), but we need to check they are veggie so I am just waiting for a reply from the supplier. Failing that - we will use blue and white sugared almonds. Think that sounds okay? Does Tiger have any blue veggie sweets we could use?

Top table decor

Top table:

We will have white cloths but also some extra décor that the other tables don't have.
I found some white petals to go on the table:

Me and Alice also found these bowls and some floating candles for the top table: 

And of course the table flowers mom made will be spaced out there:

And mom and dad might put a bit of rose garland along the front of the table if it looks nice, they will look a bit like this (but they also have a blue one too):

Also we have some blue jewels that mom and dad might scatter over the table too! :)

Soft Drinks

Andrea is sorting out tea and coffee, milk, sugar etc for everyone. She was also going to get some biscuits too! :D

For soft drinks, my mom has these dispensers that look similar to this but much nicer:

There is one clear and one green. So we thought it would be nice to have lime and apple cordial in the green one, and strawberry or summer-fruits in the clear one. Mom is also going to put some slices of fruit in these such as lime and strawberries etc. She also have some ice packs that we can break into the drinks.

We will also get some fizzy pop too in case anyone wants that.
Are there any other things we could include?
Do we need big bottles of water perhaps?

We will probably put these near the food table so people can help themselves :)
